In attendance: James Permission, Marie Ritchie, Cecilia Martin, Pedro Leon-Mercano
Not in attendance: James Hare, Eryn Valentino, Kelly Bruneau- Joe
Meeting called to order: 7:05pm
Determination of Chairman of the meeting was stated and is: A motion was made by Marie Ritchie for Mr. Permission to chair the meeting. A second motion was made by Ms. Martin. The motion passed. James Permission will chair the meeting
Call/Roll of the Board: Mr. Permission did a roll call of the board. The above names listed were in attendance.
Calling of the role to certify proxies: : Marie Ritchie (Lot 18) holds proxies for lot 49 Cecilia Martin holds proxies for lots 1, 55. Derrick Holmes holds a proxy for lot 52.
Proof of notice and wavier of notice: Notice for today’s meeting was posted on our front entry board, on our website, email and text messages were sent, and letters were sent in the mail to all residents with more than a 30-day notice.
Reading & Disposal of any unapproved minutes All previous minutes from the 2022 year were approved
Election and Inspectors of election Mrs. Ritchie asked if anyone was interested in a seat on the Board or had any nominations. James Permission nominated Thiago Bruch and he accepted. Joe Bruneau volunteered to take his wife Kelly’s lace on the board. There were no other volunteers or nominations. Pedro Leon-Mercano has stepped down. Kelly Bruneau has stepped down. The other 5 current members of the board still want to represent the HOA.
Determination & Number of Directors: Mr. Permission asked if anyone was interested in a seat on the Board or had any nominations. Joe Bruneau volunteered to take his wife’s space on the board. Mr. Permission nominated Thiago Bruch. Since there were no other people interested a vote is not required. The follow.ing people will represent the Parkwood VI HOA: James Hare, Jay Permission, Cecilia Martin, Marie Ritchie, Joe Bruneau, and Thiago Bruch A motion was made by Mr. Permission to accept all volunteers to the Board. A second was made by Mrs. Ritchie. All 7 residents were accepted to represent the Board.
Election of Directors: Positions will be determined at a later date
Unfinished Business:
Preserve- Goal is to have it trimmed as soon as possible. Trees are trimmed 10 feet back. It will cost $3000.00. We will discuss a few more things with the tree service company and agree to go up a difference of 20% if needed. A motion was made by Ms. Espinosa to approve, A second was made by Mrs. Ritchie. We will also talk about maintaining the preserve and what it will cost.
AT&T(Service and Landscape)- the project is complete. We are waiting to hear if ATT Fiber is available to us yet. All damages were repaired. Sod was laid down.
Feeding Cats- It did stop. If you are feeding stray cats, please stop!
Holiday Party- The holiday party was a huge success! Residents, their families, and friends truly enjoyed it.
Front Entry sign- we added light over the holidays, did some landscaping, re-planted some plants. Positions will be determined at our next meeting
New business:
Lyons Creek Middle Students- playing basketball in the front of the O’Hare home. He did give them permission in hopes to help keep them off the streets and from getting in trouble. However, there are many of them now. We will ask them to no longer play if they do not live in the community.
Trespass Sign – the account has been renewed with the towing company.
Entrance (sod, plants, light) Sprinklers- We will be repairing the sprinklers, laying down new topsoil and sod to fix it up. We will investigate possibly laying down Zoysia grass and hardscaping some of the area around the sign
Preserve- See information in old business. Preserve will be cut back 10 feet and we will look into yearly maintenance, since Covid -19 interrupted this service.
Pressure Clean Sidewalks- We will have the sidewalks pressure cleaned this Spring. Mike with pressure cleaned them last year. He will give residents separate quotes for their driveways
Open Floor Discussion
-Espinoza is having a garage sale. If anyone in the community would like to join, please do so. She will send out an email.
-No soliciting in the community.
-If having a large party/event we did speak with LCMS- your guests can park there for the event as long as it is not during school hours or overnight.
-Reminder email to be going out for Spring cleaning and to maintain your home and property. We need to keep our neighborhood looking beautiful!
