Old Business:
Irrigation & Landscape update: the application was submitted a month and a half ago. Daniel at the city made some revisions. We need a few additional quotes and we need a map of the entrance and draw where the sign, well, lights and plants will be. We need 2 additional quotes for the sign and two for the well. The sign is between $5-6,000.00 and we need a licensed well placer and permission from the state. Jay and Cecilia will continue to work on this. Species of plants need to be decided on and we need to draw it up.
Architectural Support & Repairs:
Driveways need pressure cleaning: Please pressure clean your driveways.
As a homeowner, it is your responsibility to keep it clean. We know it is out of season, but please do it. We will send out notices for the driveways that must be done now.
Garbage and Bulk items out too early: items are being placed out a way too early. You can only place items out the night before. Too many people are storing items on the side of the house. You are not allowed according to our bylaws.
Storm Drain Repair: Mr. Holmes called a couple of companies and they want to charge thousands to even look at it. A couple of residents who are in this field of work will look at it for us to see if they can repair it. Mr. Holmes will meet with them. If the repairs can be made by them, the HOA will be billed and we will pay them. A motion was made by Mr. Holmes to approve. A second was made by Mr. Hare. The motion passed.
New Business:
Lights up front are out: We are aware they are out. Mr. Hare will look at it this weekend and repairs will be made. Can we place a solar light on the opposite side? Mr. Ritornato will give us some prices.
Storing Items outside: According to our bylaws, you are not allowed to store items of any kind on the sides of your home. Please do not store items on the side of your home. If you have items there please remove them immediately.
Hurricane Dorian donations: Cecilia is taking donations. Marie, Heidi, and her will be taking them over to the Residence Inn Hotel. Give and help
Open floor discussion:
School Parking in our community and on streets around us: Blocking normal traffic patterns, safety risk, destroying grass and property of homes, etc....... It has been an ongoing problem. We can represent our community at City Council Meetings and discuss the concern. We need a police officer there daily. There needs to be a set pattern- free up one side of the road.
Preserve- needs to be maintained and we need to do our best to keep invasive species out of it. One resident still has a Brazilian pepper that Reasonable Rates were going to come back to get out and hasn't. Derrick will contact Mr. Kramer to come out and discuss with him yearly maintenance.
Annual Holiday Party- a motion was made by Mr. Holmes to hold our annual party. A second was made by Mrs. Dineen. All present at the meeting agreed. It will be held on January 11, 2020
